Thank you for joining us, Colchester!
Hello neighbors,
On behalf of your Colchester Democratic candidates: House Representatives Doug
Bishop, Gayle Pezzo, Sarita Austin, Wendy Critchlow, and Senate candidate Kim
Gleason, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the 125 engaged Colchester
residents who joined us this past Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Airport Park Pavilion.
Seeing so many of our neighbors spend their Sunday afternoon coming together to talk
about the issues that matter most to them was both inspiring and encouraging. You
showed up, had meaningful conversations, shared your concerns and ideas, and made
your voices heard. That kind of civic engagement is what makes our community and our
democracy strong.
We heard you. Vermonters are facing real challenges, from the rising cost of living to
ensuring our communities remain places where families feel safe, are healthy, can
afford to live, work, educate their kiddos, and thrive. We know that addressing these
challenges will take hard work.
We're ready for it!
We're ready to get back to the work of legislating through bipartisan efforts, tackling the
tough challenges ahead, and finding practical solutions to make life easier and more
affordable for Vermonters. We're committed, persistent, and dogged in our
determination to keep doing the work to keep moving Vermont forward.
That work begins with showing up at the polls and making your voice heard through
your vote. Your vote gives us the opportunity to get back to work, and together, we can
begin building a more affordable, stronger Vermont while staying true to the principles
and values that make Vermont the special place we all call home.
Thank you, Colchester, for showing up and caring deeply about the future of our
community and our state. Those 125 engaged residents on a Sunday afternoon were a
powerful reminder that people are ready to be part of the work, and we are ready to get
back to it. We hope to have your support. Please get out and vote on Nov. 3rd.
Your Voice Matters!
Have a lovely rest of the summer,
Rep. Gayle Pezzo ~ CHI 20
